Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

This page explains what information Life by Pilates collects when you visit lifebypilates.com, contact the studio or book a session, and what we do with it. We are a small private studio, and we keep this simple: we use your information to answer you, schedule your sessions and understand whether our website and advertising are working. We do not sell your personal information.

Who we are

Life by Pilates is a Classical Pilates studio owned and run by Katya Almog at 216 Old Tappan Rd, Old Tappan, NJ 07675. You can reach us at [email protected] or (201) 846-0131.

Information you give us

  • Contact form. Your name, email address, and, if you choose, your phone number, a subject and a message.
  • Phone calls, emails and texts. Whatever you share when you contact us directly.
  • Bookings and payments. When you book or pay, you do so through Vagaro, our scheduling and payment provider. Vagaro collects your contact and payment details under its own privacy policy, available on vagaro.com. We see your booking history and contact details in Vagaro; we do not store your card number.
  • Your health history. Before or during your first session we may talk about injuries, conditions or goals so we can teach you safely. Please do not send detailed medical information through the website form. We will discuss it with you in person.

How we use it

  • To reply to you and arrange an Individual Assessment or sessions.
  • To run your bookings, memberships and payments.
  • To improve our website and help more people find our studio.
  • To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We do not use your information to make automated decisions about you, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies from these services:

  • Google Analytics tells us how visitors use the site, for example which pages are viewed and how people arrive. It uses cookies and collects information such as your browser, device, approximate location and the pages you visit. You can learn how Google uses this information at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and you can opt out with Google’s browser add-on.
  • Google Ads measures whether people who clicked one of our ads went on to call us or send an inquiry. When you submit our contact form, we may share a scrambled (hashed) version of your email address and phone number with Google so it can match the inquiry to an ad click. Google uses this only to measure ad results for us. You can manage the ads Google shows you at myadcenter.google.com.
  • Microsoft Clarity shows us, in aggregate, how visitors scroll and click so we can make pages easier to use. It may record page interactions such as clicks and scrolling, but not what you type into the contact form. Microsoft’s privacy statement is at privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work if you do.

Who we share information with

Only the service providers that help us run the studio and the website, and only as needed for that purpose: our website host (Hostinger) and its content-delivery and security service (Cloudflare), our booking and payment system (Vagaro), our email provider, and Google and Microsoft for the analytics and advertising measurement described above. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiries and client records for as long as we need them to work with you and to meet our record-keeping obligations. If you would like us to delete your contact-form messages or other information we hold, email us and we will do so unless the law requires us to keep it.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by emailing [email protected]. You can also unsubscribe from any email we send.

Children

Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them online.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
