Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need prior Pilates experience? +
No experience is needed. The Individual Assessment is specifically designed to meet you where you are and introduce you to the Romana’s method at your own pace. Many of our clients began with no background in Pilates at all.
Are memberships or the Individual Assessment refundable? +
The Individual Assessment and monthly memberships are non-refundable. If you have a medical emergency or extenuating circumstance, please contact us directly and we will do our best to accommodate them.
How do the monthly memberships work, and do classes roll over? +
Classes do not roll over, but you can schedule a make-up session if you’re away that week or unable to attend. Memberships can be paused if you’ll be away for more than two consecutive weeks. To make any changes to your membership, please notify us at least four days before your next billing date.
What is your cancellation policy? +
Sessions can be cancelled at no charge up to 8 hours in advance. Cancellations made less than 8 hours before a scheduled session are charged in full.
Can two friends attend a duet session? +
Yes. Duets are arranged by mutual agreement, allowing you to train alongside a friend, family member, or partner. Duet sessions offer personalized instruction at a shared rate. Both practitioners must attend the scheduled sessions together. Please contact us directly to check availability and arrange scheduling.
Do you accept HSA/FSA cards or health insurance? +
While classical Pilates studios do not bill insurance companies directly, many clients successfully use their Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) cards. If your physician has prescribed private Pilates sessions for a specific condition such as chronic back pain or scoliosis, we can provide detailed receipts for your reimbursement. We recommend checking with your plan administrator first to confirm eligibility.
What if I arrive late? +
We will make every effort to accommodate you for the full duration of your session. However, a late arrival may result in a shorter session, and the full session fee still applies.
